PRESS RELEASE for 7th April 2009

The Motivation Men

WHAT IS IT?

The MotivationMen™ series of around-the-world online PepTalks.

WHY IS IT DIFFERENT?

Anytime business e-learning resource utilizing humour.

WHO IS IT?

Auckland-based production company Online Video Productions Ltd.

Today Auckland-based company, Online Video Productions Ltd., announced perhaps the world's first 'virtual coaching' facility of its type. Serving business, self-employed, professionals and job-seekers alike, The MotivationMen™PepTalk series parodies the motivational and success video genre, yet really does aim to provide 'instant uplift', focus or turnaround whenever required - for private users or for the benefit of work teams and conferences.

The series comes in a free-to-access online series of 'Short-play' topics, each with its own premium 'Full-play' version available for download by site visitors. Short-plays are aimed at providing a quick boost in the form of performance, motivational, sales or service reminders, and in this way the MotivationMen.com site aims to provide a free, anytime resource to the workplace. Premium 'Full-plays' of around 3-minutes, provide a more intensive, multi-learning-point 'hit' in terms of user-selected topics. The product and series itself has been available for many years to mainly corporates in off-line forms such as DVD, e-subscriptions, and in some cases, sponsored by companies for their own B2B clients.

"However, one of the original missions was to provide an anytime, anywhere turnaround 'for a plumber in Milwaukee' if they needed it," says Online's Executive Producer, Peter Anich. "But as much as we wanted to help that small business/self-employed person making their way, it was never viable while we were boot-straping our own weekly productions at the time. Hopefully our new online facility now -finally- addresses that." An early break came back in 2000 when the company produced monthly experimental shows that were well received by around 1200 senior executives, targeted directly in the Northern California IT sector.

"It was the one sector, the one place in the world where they were guaranteed to have broadband and the required video player," says Mr Anich. By making available its own "MotivationMen" video player, the company is hoping to expand into the online space both with commercial sites looking to provide a regular and supportive drawcard for their own to customers, along with social-site marketing.
