Now you can take your landline with you
Businesses hate to miss calls, yet
in this mobile age there are still customers who prefer to
ring a local number over a mobile. Now businesses can add a
local number to their mobile so they need never miss a
client’s call again.
Corporate business customers who operate both a landline and mobile can now direct all their calls to a designated mobile number for the fixed cost of $20 plus GST per month. National landline or mobile calls to a landline number (eg. 04 999 9999) will permanently redirect to a selected mobile number - regardless of where in New Zealand the call originates.
Customers not currently operating a landline number, can purchase a “virtual”local number and have all calls unconditionally forwarded to their mobile for the same monthly fixed fee. Business customers who already use a local number can bring that number with them.
Kursten Shalfoon, General Manager of Products & Services for Vodafone is excited about what local number on a mobile means for businesses in New Zealand.
“With employees spending an increasing amount of time out of the office, we can help Kiwi businesses ensure their own customers can get in touch with them easily.”
“This solution is perfect for businesses who need to be reached at all times by their customers and who don’t want their local clients to incur unexpected costs by contacting them.”
“For just $20.00 a month, businesses are buying the security of never missing a call again. With all customer enquiries going direct to one mobile device, businesses can be assured opportunities aren’t being missed.”
Shalfoon says businesses will also save money as they can operate from one mobile device instead of having landlines and mobiles as well. The service also provides the ability to access a single voicemail service combining messages from both the mobile and landline numbers.
“Vodafone has lead the charge in terms of value for money, putting New Zealand into the top half of the OECD rankings. Our continued focus on providing more value to our customers remains our number one priority.”
Corporate customers can access the service from today and Vodafone plans to roll-out the solution for small to medium businesses over the next few months. For more information, corporate customers are invited to contact their Vodafone Account Manager.
