Vodafone home packages just got a whole lot better

From this week Vodafone will give its new Easy, Ideal and Ultimate fixed line broadband customers up to 500% more data. We’re also throwing in unlimited calls to a nominated Vodafone mobile as part of the deal.

Our current Easy, Ideal and Ultimate fixed line  home phone and broadband plans have been revamped to include a whole lot more data .  So customers previously on Easy Pack getting 1 GB per month will now receive 5GB, Ideal pack boosts from 5GB to 10GB and Ultimate Pack from 20GB to 30GB. 

Even better, all new customers signing up to  an Ideal or Ultimate  Pack will receive the added benefit of a Talk 0  add-on . This offers an unlimited number of calls to one nominated Vodafone mobile for up to 1 hour (then charged at 036c per minute)  Plus, if you’re on either of these two great deals and sign up to SKY or switch your existing SKY to Vodafone we’ll upgrade you to My SKY HDi every month for free .  You just pay the standard Sky Digital  and HD subscription, and a one off installation fee .

We’re also launching our new Basic Pack, an entry level pack for light users.  Basic includes 2GB of data along with your home phone line, all for only $70.  That means if you are paying $45 for your home phone, your emails and internet are covered for only $25 per month, and you can bring your existing number with you.

Existing  Easy, Ideal and Ultimate Pack customers  also benefit from the data increase. They do not need to do anything as this increase in their data takes effect automatically from this week. Information on the changes will be sent out to all customers with their monthly bill.

Justin Caswell, Vodafone’s General Manager of Total Communications, says, “the new prices are the result of Vodafone listening to its customers and recognising that data usage is increasing in most households, with more multi-media being used by the entire family”.

“Our customers not only benefit from fast speeds and great value, they can now increase use of their favourite sites, like You Tube and Skype, for no extra cost.” says Caswell.

*The Sky offer is valid for as long as the customer is on an Ideal or Ultimate Pack and has their standard Sky subscription though Vodafone. To access SKY High Definition content you will need a High Definition capable TV, a High Definition access ticket for a cost of $10 per month, and subscribe to SKY Basic, SKY Sport and/or SKY Movies.
