WeddingCrashers will ‘save your special day.’
You could have one of New Zealand’s top
singer/songwriters performing at your ‘once in a
lifetime’ event! Just call the WeddingCrashers and they
will ‘save your special day.’
WeddingCrashers.co.nz is a new Wedding Planner website created by Freelance Writer/Photographer Stuart Williamson and internationally published Wedding & Commercial Photographer Kevin Smith. The pair has come up with a list of services they are able to provide including photographers, video, DJs and live entertainers. Entertainment is such a big part of any wedding day whether it is pre-recorded or a live ensemble and will leave a lasting impression on guests.
WeddingCrashers.co.nz is not just for those getting married in Auckland. The website features a *Directory of over 400 links to businesses nationwide for a range of wedding related products and services. Hairdressers, florists, makeup artists, celebrants and suit hire are just a few of the categories listed from Whangarei to Invercargill.
Who is on the
WeddingCrashers play list?
International
saxophonist/singer/songwriter Nathan Haines, The
Peter Urlich Sextet, Graham Brazier of Hello
Sailor, Kirsten Morrell from Golden Horse and
original Westie rock chick Jan Hellriegel. The
WeddingCrashers can even put couples in touch with Dane
Rumble, Midnight Youth or current hit-makers
Avalanche City! What about a premium covers-bands such
as The Mermaids featuring Jo Cotton, Pulse
Band or Lisa Crawley & the Lovelights? New
Zealand’s King of Comedy, Mike King, is a
registered Marriage Celebrant who will officiate accordingly
but book him as M.C. for the reception and clients will see
why he is in great demand on the local and international
comedy circuit.
Couples after a more subdued approach to
their special day have a choice of: the Daniel Ryland
Jazz Trio, Alzarae comprising four outstanding
tenors, and Will Martin – The Crossover Tenor. Will
grew up in Devonport on Auckland’s North Shore and lives
most of the year in the UK. His debut album ‘A New
World’ entered the UK Classical Charts at number 1 making
him the youngest tenor in musical history to do so. Will
spends part of the year in New Zealand and will be available
during the Rugby World Cup and select dates over summer
2012.
Many of these performers, including
instrumentalists, can provide the soundtrack to the Wedding
Ceremony with background music as guests arrive and depart
or a special song as the Bride walks down the aisle to her
‘happily ever after’. Watch this space – there are
more performers to be listed soon!
The WeddingCrashers
can also provide Stag & Hen Night entertainment; from
fun, party gatherings, to the more risqué…
Who
Are The WeddingCrashers?
Stuart Williamson
began running entertainment and band booking agencies in the
mid 1980's. He worked much of his formative years in radio
then music retail in Hawkes Bay, Auckland and Christchurch
while at the same time moon-lighting as a club/wedding DJ.
Side-lines as a camera operator, voice-over artist and
television presenter have given Stuart a wide range of
multi-media skills which he is now consolidating with the
WeddingCrashers.
Kevin Smith, also a Kiwi, lived
and worked in Milan, Italy for a number of years where he
honed his commercial photographic skills and began shooting
weddings for friends. It wasn't long before he was picking
up paid wedding work there and on his return to New Zealand
has already been in demand locally. Kevin goes out of his
way to make sure the images he supplies are of a very high
standard. He colour corrects pictures and ensures his work
exceeds expectations.
The WeddingCrashers don’t just crash weddings. They can also bring a professional touch to Engagement Parties, Civil Unions or Corporate Events.
