Major Transpower outage

Update - 1:20pm

Power supply has now been restored to most customers across Vector's network.

Update - 1:15pm

Transpower have advised that Vector can begin restoring power supply following a massive outage when Transpower lost power supply to the Huntly Power Station.

01:00 pm

A major Transpower outage is currently affecting our northern and Auckland electricity networks.

The outage has been caused by an issue at Huntly but as yet the exact cause is unknown.

We are working with Transpower and do not have an anticipated restoration time just yet, however some restoration is currently underway. We will update this section of our website when we have new information.
