Due to recent and on-going earthquake/aftershock activity affecting the Wellington area, Westfield [New Zealand] Limited advises that Westfield Queensgate has been evacuated and structural checks are now being carried out.

We anticipate the centre will re-open normal trading hours Saturday 17 August 2013.

Retailers and shoppers evacuated safely
