ANZ Investments named best Fund Manager

ANZ Investments, New Zealand’s largest KiwiSaver provider, has been awarded the FundSource Fund Manager of the Year Award for the second year in a row. ANZ Investments also won the FundSource KiwiSaver Manager of the Year Award for the third time since this award was introduced in 2010.

Last night, at the 22nd Annual FundSource Managed Funds Industry awards, ANZ was the winner of the two leading industry awards, as well as winning the sector award categories for Listed Property and International Equities.

John Body, Managing Director ANZ Wealth, said the awards are a fantastic recognition of the commitment to excellence and outperformance within the ANZ Investments team. “We’re proud to be recognised in these awards, this demonstrates the quality of our investment management processes compared to our peers. ANZ has over 200 years’ combined experience within the investment management team and we have a consistent track record of outstanding achievement in these awards.”

Qualification for the FundSource Fund Manager of the Year award is based primarily on a combination of the fund managers’ performance, their risk-adjusted track record in the medium to longer term, and qualitative analysis.

The FundSource KiwiSaver Scheme Manager of the Year award is given to the provider who offers the best solution for New Zealand’s retirement savings across diversified, balanced, conservative and growth sectors.

“We look after the retirement savings of more than 550,000 KiwiSavers and these awards demonstrate our market-leadership and the quality of the offering we deliver to our customers,” said Mr Body.
