Appointment of Executive Director

Bathurst Resources Limited (“Bathurst” or ‘the Company” ASX & NZX: BRL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Tacon as Executive Director to the Board.

It is envisaged that Richard will fill this role on an interim basis while the company conducts a search for a permanent non-executive director following the resignation of previous Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Hamish Bohannan.

Richard was appointed to the role of Chief Executive Officer on 24 March. He was previously Bathurst’s Chief Operating Officer, based in the Company’s Wellington office.

Richard has over 30 years’ industry experience. He has held several management roles in mines in Australia, and has held senior leadership roles for the past decade.

The appointment will take effect from 1 April 2015.
