Northern Region MarketWatch Analysis - April 2015

The latest residential data from New Zealand’s largest real estate group, Harcourts shows that average sale price in the Northern Region was up 19% on last year to $830,000.

Written sales in March were up 34% to 823; a record breaking sales volume for any month for the region. At the same time inventory was down 12.8%. The decline in stock will put further upwards pressure on house prices.
