Strong growth in the health insurance industry over 2016/17 has been noted in the Health Funds Association's annual review, released today.

Key points of the review include:
* the strongest growth in health insurance coverage since 2001;
* the industry's focus on wellness; and
* a resurgence in the number of workplace-based health insurance plans being taken out.
