Michelle Russell will be ANZ New Zealand’s new General Manager Talent and Culture, the company announced today.

ANZ New Zealand CEO David Hisco said Ms Russell would report to him and replace the retiring Felicity Evans on his New Zealand Leadership Team from 1 August, subject to the company receiving “no objection” from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.

Ms Russell has been ANZ New Zealand’s General Manger Relationship Services & Business Optimisation working within the company’s Commercial and Agri business since 2014 and been in other Human Resources roles in the organisation since 2005.

She has a BA (Hons) in Human Geography from the University of Otago, a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy from Victoria University of Wellington and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
