• The $2000 BizGiver grant competition will run from 14 July – 13th August 2025
• BizGiver not only gives all New Zealand small business owners a shot to win up to $2,000, but can also act as a platform to promote their business. 

BizCover, New Zealand’s number one comparison and buy site for business insurance, has announced the return of their small business grant competition, BizGiver. 

This competition is open to small businesses, with a $2,000 grant up for grabs.

Since 2014, BizCover has awarded more than $100,000 in prizes across New Zealand and Australia.   

The competition will run from 14 July to 13th August 2025 and is open to any small business in New Zealand (participants do not need to be a BizCover customer to enter).  

To enter, participants must create a one-minute video that talks about their business and how they plan to use the grant to help improve it.

Previous BizGiver winner Eileen Collins, owner of A Calmer Therapy won the grant in 2022 using the grant to install a wheelchair ramp, allowing her to offer her massage therapies to clients with compromised mobility.

In addition to the grand prize of a $2,000 small business grant, BizGiver can also act as a platform for SMEs, promoting their business across various channels and introducing it to potential new customers.
