Waikato Lotto Player Wins $1 Million

One lucky Lotto player from the Waikato will starting the year on a high after winning $1 million with Lotto First Division in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from the Waikato.

Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $6 million.

Strike Four has also rolled over tonight and will be $400,000 on Wednesday night.

Lotto NZ's Christmas promotion was also drawn tonight, with over 100 extra prizes up for grabs.

One other lucky Kiwi will be starting the new year as a millionaire. The winning ticket was bought at Pak N Save Tauriko in Tauranga.
