Rotorua Strike Player Wins $700,000

One lucky Strike player from Rotorua will be in for a treat after winning $700,000 with Strike Four in tonight’s live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold at Paper Plus Rotorua Central in Rotorua.

Powerball was not struck this evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $23 million.

Meanwhile, four lucky Lotto players from Hamilton, Tauranga, Whanganui, and Southland will also be celebrating after winning $250,000 with Lotto First Division. The winning Lotto tickets were sold at Dinsdale Lotto & Stationery in Hamilton, Four Square St Johns in Whanganui, and on MyLotto to players from Tauranga and Southland.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores or on MyLotto should check their ticket as soon as possible instore, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App.

Due to the T20 Cricket coverage on TVNZ 1, Wednesday's live Lotto draw will be aired on TVNZ 2 at 8.20pm.

Lotto NZ exists to return 100% of its profits to Kiwi communities through lottery grants programmes run by Te Puna Tahua NZ Lottery Grants Board.
