The Cleveland Living Arts Charitable Trust in association with the Dunedin City Council invites entries to the Cleveland Art Awards 2003.

With a total prize pool of $9,000 the CAA is one of the largest Art Awards in the South Island. The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the inclusion of a jewellery prize to this years award categories. Wayne Marriott the Chief Executive of Tasman Bays Heritage Trust will be this year’s judge.

The awards have two main categories: Paintings/Works on paper - open to residents of Otago, Southland, and South Canterbury. Sculpture/Ceramics/Jewellery/Applied Arts – open to all South Island and Stewart island residents.

Premier award $3,000 - one prize in each of the two categories Highly Commended $500 - one prize in each of the two categories Student $500 - one prize in each of the two categories

additional prizes: Jewelery & Applied Arts one prize of $500 Peoples Choice Award, one prize of: $500

Entries will be recieved September 21,22,23 Public Viewing October 3 – 19, Cleveland living Arts Centre, First Floor Dunedin Railway Station. Entry to the exhibition is free
