Openair Cinema screens Oscar Winners

The Openair Cinema presented by Westpac is setting up again at Fort Takapuna in Devonport this weekend for a special Oscar Extravaganza: On Friday, the outdoor theatre screens Martin Scorseses award-winning film ‘The Departed’ starring Leonardo Di Caprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Jack Nicolson and Alec Baldwin in a thrilling gangster drama. And on Saturday night (3 March) the Best Animated Feature Film ‘Happy Feet’ will be shown on the giant screen to make up for a real family event.

Bring your picnic, own chairs, beanbags, rugs or sofas and cuddle under the stars.

Tickets are sold online on www.openair.co.nz and at the gate, which opens 7.30pm and prices are $13 for Adults, $11 for Senior Citizen / Students and $7 for Kids under 12. The screenings start at 8.30pm.
