Sell-Out Crowds at Wintec International Arts Festival

Second and third screenings of a programme of documentary and dramatic short films by Aboriginal film makers Beck Cole and Warwick Thornton have been scheduled to cope with sell-out crowds at the Wintec international arts festival Spark 07 in Hamilton.

Organisers said the internationally award winning couple were stunned when their films “when down a storm” with audiences so large that another screening is being held today, after they have returned to Australia.

Today’s programme includes leading New York photographer and video artist Elisabeth Smolarz, Brazilian installation artist Lucia Koch and afternoon and evening screenings from renowned UK production company ‘onedotzero’
