Introducing Dr Sketchy

Dr. Sketchy Wellington is finally here! On Saturday, March 14th from 4pm-7pm at the amazing Mighty Mighty. An afternoon of dancing dames, drink, drag and drawing! This month we are proud to have the fabulous Rhubarb Rouge (http://www.bebo.com/Rhubarbrouge) Miss Drag Wellington 2009, and the stunning Eva Strangelove (http://myspace.com/EvaStrangelove).  Only $14 for waged and $12 unwaged.

The concept is simple... Artists draw glamorous burlesque dancers and perfomance artists, compete in contests, and win wonderful prizes. Oh yeah, there's booze too. Dr. Sketchy was invented in the beautiful mind of New York artist Molly Crabapple, it has since spread across continents and taken over bars, cafes and dance halls all across the world; and now it has finally come to Wellington. It's a regular monthly event, on the second Saturday of every month, 4-7pm at Mighty Mighty. The goal is to put the life back into life drawing... and by golly we have a hell of a lot of fun achieving our goals.

Bring along some paper, a pen or pencil and get ready for a afternoon of awesome competitions, fantastic prizes, smooth tunes, refreshing drinks and the most dazzling models in the city.
