Springfresh Water Announces Partnership With Silver Ferns
SpringFresh Water,
a pure artesian water bottled in Christchurch, proudly
announced their partnership with Netball New Zealand as the
official water of the Silver Ferns national Netball team
through to July 2010.
SpringFresh Water will provide the
athletes with what they need most – hydration without any
calories or sugars. Sourced from an underground artesian
aquifer in Tai Tapu in Canterbury, SpringFresh Water is
protected from external pollutants or contaminants.
"SpringFresh is very excited to partner with Netball New Zealand," said Ed Wang, General Manager, SpringFresh Water. "Both SpringFresh and the Silver Ferns promote and encourage a healthy lifestyle, and this is the perfect opportunity for us to reach both top netball competitors and their many fans.”
“We are thrilled to have SpringFresh on board as the exclusive water of the Silver Ferns team,” said chief executive of Netball New Zealand Raelene Castle. “SpringFresh will be a great partner for our organisation and we are looking forward to reaching out to netball fans starting from the New World International Netball Series this month.”
SpringFresh Water is a wholly-owned subsidiary of FIJI® Water, one of the leading premium bottled water brands worldwide. The company, which launched a Sustainable Growth Initiative last year to become the first carbon negative bottled water, is reducing carbon emissions across the product’s entire lifecycle and offsetting at least 120 percent of remaining emissions through an aggressive rainforest reforestation project in Fiji. FIJI Water has also partnered with Conservation International and the people of Fiji to protect and preserve the Sovi Basin, the largest remaining lowland rainforest in the South Pacific. In addition, FIJI Water has reinvested significant resources to expand access to clean, safe drinking water and to provide quality education and health care for the people in Fiji.
