Artist studios and galleries from the MainARTery art trail, throughout the Wairarapa region, will be open to the public from Saturday October 24th until Monday 26th October (Labour weekend). 10am – 4pm daily this is a free event.

A fantastic opportunity for the public to visit practising artists in their own creative surroundings and appreciate the unique environment that has inspired much of their work. There is a diverse blend of fine art & craft such as vibrant paintings of native birds by Sandra Wong, sculptures and furniture in wrought iron by Niko Thomsen, to delicate wire frock brooches by Lisa Harman along with 15 other artists in a range of media. .

The Trail begins in Greytown and weaves its way through the beautiful countryside of the Wairarapa right up to Eketahuna and out to Castlepoint.
