We’ll
drink to that: Chair of judges Steve Smith MW (centre) is

the 2009 Air New Zealand Wine Awards in Auckland. The three
days of judging [eds.2-4 November] will see the 26-strong
judging panel taste the 1,657 wines entered this year. The
medal-winning wines will be announced on 11
November.
