Fishhead Charity Auction Update

FishHead magazine is delighted with the response to its auction, being run by Trade Me, to raise money for The Wellington City Mission. The winning bidder gets to pick the topic of a two-page feature story in our Christmas issue - on anything they want! (With a Wellington focus of course!) It could be their Wellington club, team, landmark, band or piece of local history, or on how awesome their Mum is!! 100 % of all proceeds go to the Wellington City Mission.

Currently the bidding sits at $405.00, with over 100 people watching the auction and views approaching 12,000!!

As usual with Trade Me auctions a lot of fun is being had in the comments section. In particular one prolific question poster named Mark Leggett. Here are some examples:

Q. Can I make it so the magazine is just about how awesome my cat is? She's actually quite awesome?

Q. In this big future you imagine for me, are humans ruled by talking apes? I hope not, spider monkeys really creep me out?

Q. It says in the description that you are a tiny team. Are you small group of normal people, or midgets? I must know?
