Fashionable race goers turned out in force for the Stella Artois Auckland Cup Day at Ellerslie.
Just before the $1 million feature race of the Stella Artois Auckland Cup Day, Nardine and Simon Hunt, fashion boutique owners from Havelock North, won the Stella Artois Cup Couture.
The winning couple won a fantastic scenic Coast to Coast helicopter flight taking in Auckland's stunning harbours, CBD and Gulf Islands as well as a $200 voucher for Euro Restaurant and Bar on Princes Wharf.
Around 7000 people attended this year’s Cup Day with around $600,000 being raised by the Auckland Racing Club for the Christchurch Appeal Fund.
