MARY POPPINS Ticket Sales Break Records

Robbie Macrae, director of THE EDGE, announced today that opening ticket sales for MARY POPPINS – The Supercalifragilistic musical – have broken box office records for events at The Civic.

“When MARY POPPINS opened on 18 October, it broke the box office record for advance sales for any event at The Civic. The previous record went back to 2004.”

"I am thrilled that there has been such enormous support for this wonderful musical. MARY POPPINS has broken records wherever it has played and it is wonderful that this trend is carried on here,” Macrae continued.

“The success of shows like MARY POPPINS reinforces that Auckland is an exciting place to live and to visit.”

“Final tickets go on sale today for performances through until 30 December. MARY POPPINS is an extraordinary show and I encourage New Zealanders to book quickly so that they don’t miss out on this magical musical.”

Great seats are available for most shows through to the final performance on 30 December. No further extension is possible.
