How Do You Sleep
On the brink of releasing their anticipated second record ‘Underwater Pyramids’ local noize foursome Badd Energy are celebrating with their new single ‘How Do You Sleep’.

The surreal and unsettling video is the brainchild of Auckland director (a.k.a Moppy and Wilberforces band-member) Thom Burton.

Badd Energy are a psychedelic mix of guitars, drum machines and genres. Sam Moore, Coco Solid, Trixie Darko and J.Suave make up this trippy quartet that kick out motley jams blending stoner-swamp riffs with laid back 808 raps. Their single first ‘Third Eye’ hit #1 on both Bfm and Radio 1, Dunedin in 2011 and was followed by second track Ba-Zing which also reached #1 on Radio 1.

Underwater Pyramids is set for release in February 2013 on Flying Nun Records.
