Free Interactive Art Exhibition

An unconventional new pop-up space – The Oil Press Project – launches this Friday, 22nd March at 44 Manners St in the heart of Wellington City.

Featuring original art installations, the project poses thought-provoking questions about how people in Wellington see themselves, their future and their city.

During the build up to the Easter break, The Oil Press Project aims to capture the voices of Wellingtonians, while also providing an opportunity for contemplation. More than merely a passive gallery, the space gently challenges participants to interact with the installations. It welcomes people into a quiet – yet creative – place to reflect, listen and respond, offering relief from the hustle and bustle of busy cafes and noisy city streets.

This event is free to public.
