The huge success of the previous AotearoHA: Next Big Things on TV3 prompted the Comedy Festival and Hurley to make their picks for 2013 & showcase the hot new talent you may not have heard of yet, but who’ll be on everyone’s radar soon enough.

AotearoHA: Next Big Things has previously served as a platform for the likes of 7 Days regular Urzila Carlson, Guy Williams (Billy T Award winner 2012) and Rose Matafeo (Billy T Award nominee 2013) – all of which have gone on to critical acclaim and, more importantly, rapturous laughter within the NZ comedy circuit.

2013’s edition features a fantastic selection of break-through talent, including Nick Rado (2011 Billy T Award nominee), Brendon Green (Best Newcomer, 2012 NZ International Comedy Festival), 2012 RAW Comedy Quest winner Jamaine Ross and many more to be announced ahead of the Festival!
