Exciting changes to Food in a Minute

‘Food in a Minute’ re-launched this week, with a fresh new format which aims to help more Kiwis love food every day. Celebrating 16 years of bringing trusted and loved recipes to New Zealanders, Food in a Minute is now the ultimate go to guide for helping people make great food choices for their families – with new style recipes and meal solutions as well as the latest in food news.

Food in a Minute has become a loved Kiwi icon, with around a third of Kiwi cooks using a ‘FIAM’ recipe at least once a month. 16 yrs ago the first ever Food in a Minute recipe was Tuscan Chicken and this family favourite has now been given a modern twist. Suitable for super busy households it’s one of the many great recipes featured on the new www.foodinaminute.co.nz

Part of the reason for the enduring success of Food in a Minute has been that the recipes are developed and tested for the real world. All recipes are triple tested, and use ingredients that we can all readily find. In the new format, Lana Garland will present a series of mini programmes featuring great recipes, hot new products, fresh new ideas & relevant product info. Recipes are made even easier to follow with new step by step videos available via the new look Food in a Minute site.

According to Tim Skellern, Wattie’s General Manager Marketing, while fantastic recipes remain at the heart of Food in a Minute, the new format delivers more; from the latest in food trends to up-to-date product information.

”We all want cost effective meal solutions that are simple & taste great; but we also want relevant information about the foods we’re eating and the new format of Food in a Minute recognises this. We’re also focusing on accessibility via our mobile App,” says Skellern.

“In a world where we’re bombarded with fancy recipes and celebrity food television, the new look Food in a Minute provides refreshing practicality & trust that is truly helpful when providing interesting mealtimes,” adds Skellern.
