One-hour of new and traditional dance performed by students of the New Zealand School of Dance.
This is a unique opportunity to watch these fine dancers in the studio where they train. Students will showcase a diverse and exciting range of repertoire, including both classical ballet and contemporary dance. The programme also includes work currently being rehearsed for the School's Graduation Season in November: excerpts from 'Solitaire' by Sir Kenneth MacMillan and 'Rise' by former Royal New Zealand Ballet dancer Jo Funaki.
Te Whaea National Dance & Drama Centre is a short ten minute bus ride from Wellington's CBD. Entry to the performances is by koha/donation and there is no need to book.
