The 1st Annual Ride to Conquer Cancer Will Begin This

WHEN: Saturday 16 November &
Sunday 17 November, 2013
WHAT: This Saturday, thousands of cancer survivors and riders supported by hundreds of crew and volunteers will begin the first annual Auckland Ride To Conquer Cancer. The Ride is a 2-day, 200km cycling event from Auckland to the Pukekohe and back, to enable the Cancer Society Auckland (CSA) to support ground-breaking research & clinical trials at the Auckland Cancer Society Research Centre (ACSRC).
John Loof, CEO of Cancer Society Auckland, will announce the participant and fundraising totals at the opening ceremony, moments before The Ride will begin.
The Ride to Conquer Cancer invites all members of the community to attend official cheering stations to support participants as they cycle through local communities.
