Eat Out celebrates Rotorua's fantastic foods

The Mud has recently launched a new Eat Out section to celebrate Rotorua's fantastic foods and help lift the profile of our cafes and restaurants.

Eat Out includes the following:

Reviews of eateries - we have done the first one, which is Picnic Café. The review includes a visit by a "mystery shopper" reviewer and a follow-up video with the eatery's owner/manager. Note this free of charge and the eateries aren't told beforehand.

The Mixing Bowl competition - in which people can send in their favourite recipes to win a prize once a month.

The Rotorua Eat Directory - listings of cafes, restaurants, and bars. Again, this is free of charge.

The first café reviewed is Picnic Café.
