Dying of the Light: 'Factory' video

New Zealand Music Month is getting into full swing so it is a fitting time for DYING OF THE LIGHT to release a new video for their version of the kiwi classic SHIHAD head banger “FACTORY”. The 100% self funded and self-produced clip is a full bore tribute to SHIHAD in the aggressive and innovative early stages of their career. The 1993 debut “CHURN” from which the song comes is a hugely influential record for DYING OF THE LIGHT, so it was a real challenge to do the song justice. DYING OF THE LIGHT play a loyal version of the tune flavoured with a heavier tuning and a darker delivery that is true to the spirit of the original while making it their own. “FACTORY” is the last song on DYING OF THE LIGHT’s 4 track “MONOLITHIUM” EP.
