Bitch on Screen & Soundtrack

During April this year, the unreleased 1973 album from local band Bitch was released on vinyl by Real Groovy Records alongside a CD of all three incarnations of the band The Clevedonaires, The Cleves and Bitch.

You can now hear Bitch most weeks on the new TV3 drama series Westside -Sunday nights at 8.30 pm.

The release of Bitch has also led to negotiations to supply music for an upcoming Hollywood movie.

Meanwhile in the UK one of their tracks is to feature on a new CD compilation.

We mentioned at the time of release that the guitar riff from 'Good Time Coming' was sampled by UK group Unkle for their track 'Restless' from their internationally successful album War Stories and has also been used in the Hollywood movie Fright Night 2012, the TV show CSI Miami and PS3 gameGrid 2.

The group's involvement with soundtrack music stretches right back to the 70s when they recorded the soundtrack music for esteemed Australian producer Peter Weir's production of Michael.
