Queer prisoner pen pal network launching

A letter-writing programme targeted at takatāpui, queer, trans, and/or intersex people in prisons called the Prisoner Correspondence Network (PCN) is launching this month with a call for participants.
Following concerns about the welfare of queer and especially trans prisoners within a rapidly increasing prison population, PCN is aiming to provide queer people on the inside with friendship, support, writing practice and personal expression free from judgement.

PCN was started by members of the queer community in Auckland. The network organisers are asking for any interested free or incarcerated queer people to contact them at pcnaotearoa@gmail.com or PCN / PO Box 5870 / Wellesley St / Auckland 1141.
