Hunt for the Wilderpeople’s Cohen Holloway teams up with young comic and actress Sophia Johnson to bring their sell out Wellington show sequel One night only plus tw o more to the Dunedin Fringe festival.

Cohen is best known for his work in Taika Waititi’s fims; Hunt for the Wilderpeople, What we do in the Shadows, Eagle vs Shark, and Boy. He’s also known for his lead role as Tama in Maori tv’s hit series Find me a Maori Bride.

Sophia is known for her work on Shortland Street, The Almighty Johnsons, No thing Trivial, and Ash vs Evil Dead.

The Comedy duo have been together for a year, and have since sold out their International comedy festival run in Wellington.

Their new show, debuting at the Dunedin Fringe called O ne night onl y plus two more, is based on their decision to make their show more epic, the most epic show of all time, Gladiator level of epic. And what could more epic than a one night only experience? Only they want to do three nights (three times the level of epicness). So far no one’s had the guts to tell them that that’s not actually a one night only show.

One nig ht only plus two more is on at the Dunedin Fringe festival venue, 20 princes street, from 6pm to 7pm on the 14th, 15th and 16th of March. Tickets are available from dunedinfringe.co.nz And Eventinda for $20 or $16 student price. There is also a ‘have dinner with us’ option that includes dinner with the cast at Madam Woo after the show.
