[19 September 2025] Filipino-Australian artist and producer Juno Mamba joins forces once again with Indonesian-born, Melbourne/Naarm-based producer Rino to drop their dynamic new single ‘Citrus’ today. The track follows their recent collaboration ‘Meant2Be’ - a euphoric, hypnotic journey that showcased the duo’s undeniable chemistry and hinted at bigger things to come.

Alongside the single, the pair today unveil their forthcoming 4-track EP Flowerdrum, due October 17. What began as a chance one-off meeting quickly evolved into a full project with its own identity, born from their instant creative connection and shared cultural parallels. Both artists draw inspiration from their childhoods, and with Flowerdrum they aim to celebrate and champion their Asian heritage across sound, artwork and visuals.

For the EP’s visual world, Juno and Rino tapped multidisciplinary artist Rel Pham, whose work is defined by electric colour palettes and a penchant for digital surrealism.

Musically, Flowerdrum finds synergy between Rino’s sonic world, at once meditative and energetic, weaving deep emotion with visceral textures - and Juno’s expansive, emotive electronic palette. The result is a body of work that feels transportive and deeply personal.

After early self-releases, Rino signed to Sydney/Eora’s Gallery Recordings (home to Pretty Girl and Sam Alfred), where his debut EP Expanse fused contemplation and euphoria, earning Spotify playlisting (Portal, Night Shift, Sunday Sessions) and airplay across triple j, Double J, SYN and Kiss FM. His second Gallery EP, Flow-on, explored grittier dance textures that landed him on Fresh Finds and Fresh Finds Dance. His most recent project Running In Pairs, released via UK DJ Seb Wildblood’s label All My Thoughts, further solidifies his reputation as a producer pushing electronic boundaries.

For Juno Mamba, ‘Citrus’ follows a prolific streak of collaborations, including ‘Meant2Be’, ‘1 DAY 2 LATE’ with Mild Minds (Foreign Family/Ninja Tune), and ‘U Always’ with edapollo, which earned the cover of Spotify UK tastemaker playlist Altar and support from BBC Radio 1’s Sian Eleri. ‘U Always’ was later remixed by LUV HRTS, the project of GRAMMY Award-nominated producer Benjamin David (Mild Minds) and Victor Pakour (Ruby Haunt).

On the live front, Juno Mamba continues to rise. Recently signed to Earth Agency’s UK/EU roster (joining Jacques Greene, James Holden, and Machinedrum), he will make his UK/EU live debut this September/October with 8 shows across the region, including club dates with edapollo and a coveted slot at Amsterdam Dance Event, joining Ben Böhmer’s curated lineup at DGTL Festival. This comes hot off the back of national tours supporting Kiasmos and New Order, plus shows with Sultan + Shepard (sold-out Melbourne) and house legend MK.

2024 release Cold Rush, earned widespread global support across DSPs (Spotify Viral 50, Dance Generation, Portal; Apple’s Dance XL, Loops, Breaking Dance), media (Mixmag, Rolling Stone, KALTBLUT, This Song Is Sick, Pilerats) and radio (triple j Mix Up Residency, Double J, BBC Radio 1).

With ‘Citrus’ and the forthcoming Flowerdrum EP, Juno Mamba and Rino step into a bold new chapter that celebrates culture, connection, and collaboration - cementing both artists as vital voices in the next wave of electronic music.
