Launching into the 10th Year

Between 300 – 400 guests including students from the University of Canterbury and CPIT, sponsors, members of the local business community and University of Canterbury senior management and staff are expected to attend the 10th entré Grand Launch this Thursday, 13th March, at 7:00pm.

Held in the University’s Undercroft, the Launch celebrates the beginning of the 10th year for entré and aims to encourage and cultivate entrepreneurial spirit among university students of all disciplines.

The free event promises live entertainment, beverages and canapés and a great networking opportunity for the university and business community. The event will also recognise the past successes of students involved with entré’s programmes.

Coralie Winn, local entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Christchurch organization Gap Filler, will be speaking at the event about her involvement within the creative urban regeneration group, which started in response to the Canterbury earthquakes.

Entré CEO, Stew Whitehead, is excited about the evening;

“Launch is always an important event for us. It allows everyone to meet the Executive and our sponsors, hear about the exciting things we have planned for the year ahead and learn from our guest speaker, Coralie Winn. It’s a fantastic night and wonderful way to encourage students to get involved with the business world.”

The entré Executive is looking forward to meeting 2014’s members and sharing a fun evening with all who attend.
