Tai Poutini Polytechnic ‐ Council Appointments

The Tai Poutini Polytechnic Council is pleased to announce three new appointments to its Council.

Following an advertising and nomination process the Council has made three appointments effective from 1 May 2015 for three and four year terms. The Council appointments are:

Nicky Cooper ‐ is currently employed as the HR Training Development Advisor at Westland Milk Products and is actively involved in the West Coast community.

Dr Gabrielle Wall ‐ runs a consultancy business, is currently a director of a farming/forestry company based on the West Coast, an intern director on the Board of City Care Ltd, and a Board member of Ako Aotearoa.

Dr Peter Coolbear ‐ is co‐director of Coolbear Ltd, Director of Ako Aotearoa, Chair of NZ Council for Educational Research, and the external Chair of the Weltec‐Whitireia Combined Academic Board.

The TPP Council Chair, Graeme McNally, said the Council received 19 applications for the three positions and it was very pleased with both the high level of interest in these positions and the experience and skills of the applicants.
