Meeting Parents On Their Own Turf To Discuss 2016

Meeting Parents On Their Own Turf To Discuss 2016 Education Options

Busy parents are making decisions about their daughter’s schooling later in the year according to one leading Christchurch girls’ school.

As a result, Rangi Ruru is heading out to the ‘burbs starting with Lyttelton last week and Sumner and Cashmere this week - with Cashmere tomorrow.

Lead teacher for Year 7 and 8, Sally Fail, says she and her team have heard from a number of parents that doing the rounds of schools, which is important, is also time consuming and can be stressful.

“So we are going to them; meeting parents at a local bar and putting on a few drinks and nibbles, so they can relax and have a chat in their own neighbourhood,” she says.

The Rangi team will be at Protocol Public House, 2 Colombo Street, Cashmere

tomorrow from 5-7pm and in Cashmere at The Beach Bar, 25 Esplanade, Sumner on Wednesday 5-7pm.

Schedule:

Tuesday 22 September from 5.00–7.00pm

Protocol Public House, 2 Colombo Street, Cashmere

Wednesday 23 September from 5.00–7.00pm

The Beach Bar, 25 Esplanade, Sumner

Be sure that you are giving your daughter the best start to her secondary school education by getting a head start at Rangi Ruru.
