Cyber Security Researchers of Waikato

In 2013, the Cyber Security Researchers of Waikato aka CROW became the first cyber security lab established in a New Zealand educational institution as part of the Faculty of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Waikato.

In the same year they launched New Zealand’s first Master of Cyber Security degree.

CROW also host the annual New Zealand Cyber Security Challenge while STRATUS, the $12.2 million cyber security project, funded by Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment (MBIE), holds an annual forum in Wellington.
