Ryan is in a critically ill but stable condition in our intensive care
unit at Waikato Hospital.

Thomas Orr, 77, the instructor from Taupo is recovering in a ward and
does not wish to talk to the media. His wife, former Taupo mayor, Joan
Williamson-Orr thanks everyone for their best wishes and says their
thoughts are with Ryan and his family at this time.
