Marsha Marshall appointed CEO Manawanui InCharge
Albany based national individualised funding provider Manawanui InCharge is pleased to announce the appointment of Marsha Marshall as its new Chief Executive.
Ms Marshall leaves her role as the Manager of the Family and Community Support Team at the Ministry of Health to take up the role effective 2 November 2011.
“Individualised funding is my personal and professional passion and has been the philosophical basis of my entire career,” Ms Marshall said.
Canadian born Ms Marshall has seen the fundamental improvements individualised funding has made to people’s lives in Canada and she is excited to see it make the same differences here in New Zealand.
“Individualised funding improves lives and my goal is to see it make a difference to as many people as possible,” she said.
Since arriving in New Zealand in 1999 Ms Marshall has worked for Starship Hospital where she started a respite care programme for parents of medically fragile children – called Family Options.
From Starship Ms Marshall moved to Waitemata DHB where she remained for eight years before joining the Ministry of Health.
