Next week, West Papuan Leaders arrive in
Auckland for the International Solidarity Meeting in
Auckland to discuss the West Papuans right to determination
and to step up pressure on Indonesia to observe its
independence. Yakib Rombiet- will be in the studio to
discuss the conference and his experiences with the
Indonesian government. He spent ten years In Suhato's jails
for raising the West Papuan flag and got caught up in
militia as a UN Monitor in East Timor
We have
a spokesman from UNESCO to discuss the Navigators of Peace
conference being held in New Zealand this week, to celebrate
the 50th anniversary of the Associated Schools Project
(ASPnet), a UNESCO-sponsored international network of
schools that is devoted to quality education and
intercultural learning
