Independent MP Bob Katter is supporting the Coalition to form a minority government.

But the three independents with the responsibility of choosing the next government appear to have split.

Bob Katter is currently holding a press conference in his office, after originally planning a joint decision with Tony Windsor and Rob Oakeshott at 3pm. [5pm NZ time]
