NZ Labour Party launches its campaign for the 2011 General Election at Westpac Stadium, 14 July 2011 (Bastille Day). The centerpiece of the campaign is a large tax reform package including a Capital Gains Tax. The campaign slogan is Own Our Future and references the National Party's plan to sell 51% of the State Owned Electricity Generators.
