Given Dame Susan Devoy's caution to political parties re racist comments, and the heightened attention to any such, Steve Gibson's inflammatory use of the term "Shylock" [with its long, long pedigree of anti-Semitism] to describe the PM is a disgrace. Total ignorance [his defence] might enable him to feel at home in our modern parliament but his blurt leaves a sick taste in the mouths of New Zealanders.
