Please be advised that Investiture ceremonies for recipients of the New Zealand New Year Honours 2003 will take place at Government House over the next few days.

The ceremonies will be held on Thursday, 3 April, Friday, 4 April, Tuesday, 8 April and Wednesday, 9 April.

Among the many recipients from all sectors of New Zealand society will be former Prime Minister Jenny Shipley, potter Doreen Blumhardt, sports personalities Tab Baldwin, Jeff Wilson and Bernice Mene, and singer Dave Dobbyn.

Government House will issue additional media advisories on the day prior to each ceremony. These will list the names of the people invested the following day.
