New List MP For Labour Party

The Chief Electoral Officer has declared

LESLEY SOPER

from Invercargill to be elected to Parliament from the Labour Part’s list.

The vacancy arises from the retirement from Parliament of the Rt. Hon Jonathan Hunt.

The election is effective from 4 April 2005.
