Public submissions are being invited on the Crimes (Match-fixing) Amendment Bill.

The bill proposes to address match-fixing risks presented by New Zealand’s hosting of the Cricket World Cup and the FIFA Under 20 (football) World Cup. These events will occur over February-March and May-June 2015 respectively.

A copy of the bill can be viewed online at www.legislation.govt.nz Submissions should be forwarded, either online using our website (www.parliament.nz) or in writing to the address below. If a submitter wishes to appear before the committee, they need to state this clearly and provide a name, daytime phone number and email address.
