Clarification Regarding Parker Investigation

In response to media coverage today, the Ministry of Economic Development advises that neither the Companies Office nor the wider Ministry has provided any opinion regarding the investigation being conducted into certain matters relating to MP David Parker to any Government Minister or department.

The Registrar of Companies is conducting the investigation following the usual process.

Given the investigation is still proceeding, we do not intend to make further comment.
